About the event

Dancing Mindfulness is an expressive arts practice developed by clinical counselor and trauma specialist, Dr. Jamie Marich. Dancing Mindfulness uses music and movement to practice being in the present moment in an atmosphere of non-judgement and respect for each participant's individual experience. Dancing Mindfulness classes can be any length and can accommodate a diverse population in various settings. Dr. Marich developed the practice so it can be easily learned by people who are experiencing the call to facilitate. Th eintensive is also ideal for those wanting to develop a personal practice  in Dancing Mindfulness. Drawing on the principles of trauma-informed practices, Dancing Mindfulness facilitation is designed to be a fun and transformative experience!
